Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention
Sarasota's annual OUT OF THE DARKNESS walk is open to the general
public, survivors of suicide loss, and mental health workers /
medical community. The walk is 3 miles in length (5K), with the
route along Siesta Key Beach. Sponsored by The American Foundation
for Suicide Prevention a National non-for-profit organization. Call

SARASOTA READING FESTIVAL (Cancelled)
The Sarasota Reading Festival is a celebration of authors, reading,
literacy and the written word. Dozens of events in downtown Sarasota’s
Five Points Park, the Selby Public Library, the Sarasota Opera House and
the Golden Apple Dinner Theatre, the Festival also features a street-side
fair with performances on two stages, booksellers and publishers,
sponsors, community organizations and book signings.
